Who Are We
ImageThe Cape Fear Chapter Fayetteville NC #3473 was Chartered in September 1987. The name was derived from the region that it was in. The original club consisted of fifteen (15) members and soon grew to forty (40) within a few short months. Over the years, the club has gained and lost members through relocations, change of life styles and demise. Overall, the club has steadily grown and prospered with a current membership of 273 as of January 2007.

The Warning Signs of Impending Disaster
ImagePerhaps you don't consider yourself an athlete when you're riding your motorcycle on the road. But in intense hot weather, you should.

Think about it. When the summer turns really steamy, the folks in cars all have their windows rolled up and the AC on max, while you swelter inside your armored clothes. So even if you couldn't do a Special Forces pushup if your life depended on it, that puts you in a category with others who need to manage their body temperature in the face of extreme conditions - people like runners, bicyclists and triathletes.

Mileage Program

Make Your Miles Count (Mileage Program)
Mileage ProgramHOG® is all about riding and having fun. The HOG Mileage Program rewards you for doing what we all love to do most … ride. The more miles you log on your Harley®, the more recognition you receive. Pins, patches, motorcycle medallions – all awarded to you because you ride.
A HOG Mileage Program pin and patch will be sent to all HOG members upon enrollment in the program. If you have more than one motorcycle, be sure to enroll each additional bike. After enrollment, additional awards can be earned by achievement of the mileage levels listed in your HOG Membership Manual and online at members.hog.com, starting at just 10,000 miles. Don’t waste another mile! Take part in the Mileage Program and make every mile count!
